🚀 How It Works
- Open the app & allow access. Grant camera and location permission so your shots can be stamped. Photo access lets you import and save media.
- Choose a mode. Take a live GPS Photo, record a GPS Video, or Add Photo to stamp an image already in your gallery.
- Frame your shot. Wait for “GPS Ready”, then capture. Coordinates, address, map, weather and time appear on the overlay card.
- Customize the stamp. Move and resize the card, and switch individual details on or off to get the perfect look.
- Save & share. Your stamped photo or video is saved to the gallery and ready to share to any app.

Do I need an internet connection?
GPS coordinates and the map work using your device location, even offline. An internet
connection is only needed to look up the street address and the current
weather.
Are the stamps permanently added to my photos?
Yes. When you save, the location card is burned directly into the image or video file,
so it stays visible everywhere you share it.
Can I move or hide parts of the stamp?
Absolutely. Drag to reposition, pinch to resize, and toggle GPS, Map, Weather, Time or
Address individually before you save.
Does it work with videos?
Yes. You can record new videos or import existing ones, and the GPS overlay is applied
to the whole clip.
Can I add a stamp to old photos?
Yes. Use “Add Photo” to import any picture from your gallery and apply a GPS & map
stamp to it.
Which Android versions are supported?
Android 9 (Pie) and newer.
Is the app free?
Yes, the app is free to use and supported by ads. An optional Premium upgrade removes
ads for a cleaner experience.

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what GPS Photo Stamp Map Camera
(“the App”, package com.gps.camera.photolocation.locationstamp.map) collects,
how it is used, and the choices you have.
Location data
The App uses your device’s GPS/location only to stamp your photos and videos with coordinates, a map and an address. Your coordinates are processed on your device and sent to third-party services (a reverse-geocoding provider and the Open-Meteo weather service) solely to retrieve the corresponding address and weather. We do not store your location on our own servers and we do not track or sell your location history.
Camera, photos and videos
The camera is used to capture photos and videos. Media you import or create stays on your device and is saved to your gallery. We do not upload your photos or videos to our servers.
Permissions we request
- Camera — capture GPS-stamped photos and videos.
- Location (fine & coarse) — add coordinates, address and map to your media.
- Photos & Videos / Storage — import media and save your stamped results.
- Microphone — record audio with your videos (optional; video records silently if not granted).
- Internet & network state — fetch address and weather details.
Third-party services
To operate and improve the App and to serve ads, we use trusted third-party services that may process limited technical or usage data in accordance with their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob — advertising (removed with Premium).
- Google Firebase Crashlytics — crash and stability reporting.
- AppsFlyer — install attribution and analytics.
- Open-Meteo — weather data for the location stamp.
- Google Play Services / Google Mobile Ads — core device and ad services.
Data retention
Your photos, videos and stamps are stored locally on your device and remain under your control. You can delete them at any time. Removing the App removes its locally stored data.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
